I hate tradeshows. :) Let's better do a short. :)

Peter Majtan

We could do a short right before, or after the show. Most of us could justify the travel if it includes the show...

What happened to London? There's a great (actually really crap) pub on my road!

Ehum. Seriously now...

All seem nice. But amsterdam is my last choice. Too seedy and I'm not really into going to a trade show at the moment. Screams expensive hotel and crowds with no good locations for interesting photography.

I've never been Barcelona before. I vote for all except the Dam and Lissabon

You have obviously never been to the RED district...
The old center is actually like Venice with all the water channels, I kind of like it...

Don't take Amsterdam for the seedy reputation alone. It is a beautiful city (like Peter says), that really reflects 'Old Europe'. I love the city and locations are a plenty.

Well, after London just screwed my country and most of Europe up the ass I reckon we make a specific effort to keep as much business outside London as possible, which we can now do in this technology age!

Nothing against London and the people born to the mercy of that monster, or the creative energy that can sometimes glimmer in the shadow of a behemoth form, just the vast majority of greedy evil twats that are drawn to suckle on the teats of that beast.

I think it is time for a hunt, let us first cripple the the animal, then cut it up into a million pieces and scatter the carcase to every corner of Europe.

Only joking, actually I'm not...

My top choice would be Barcelona, I miss the sea. :)

Barcelona would be cool... And we can all sing, 'Bar-cel-on-a, it was the first time that we met', or maybe not...

I sense a little angst in you ProductBE,
and yes London is truly a dark and depraved
place but I love it and my south london peeps.

Yeah, I lived in London for a few years, but a nice place to visit...

Like I say nothing against the good people of London, but they are less than 10% of the population of the place, nothing against the people managing to do creative stuff while swimming upstream in a river of shite, good luck to them. Just the rest, the majority whoring themselves and selling my country down the river for a fast buck.

It does have a few good points, but it is now a outdated machine built for another age, and really isn't needed, doing far more harm than good, shame.

But are technology and communication will naturally dilute the place for us all, no need to take up arms or start a revolution :)

I voted for the 'Dam too. I haven't been to IBC for a few years but i used to love it - it was worth going for the Inferno demo's alone. I was there the year The Mill were doing the demo with Gladiator material (still one of my favourite FX films, love the matte paintings).

The show has fallen some distance since those glory days though.

Anyway, Amsterdam proper is lovely, and I could nip down and visit my cousin in Eindhoven afterwards. Sweet.
