I just saw this. Looks like a consumer product that could be put to professional use.

I think it could be useful as general ambient and a nice fill light.
Anyone in Europe played with one of these?

Looks cool. The light only puts out around 15 watts though. I believe 5 of these can be toggled together and controlled by 1 remote.

This is pretty easy to build with some LEDs, a microprocessor like the Arduino, and a bit of code.

It is high brightness LED's, light output for 15w would be comparable to a 40w incandescent.

Pro LED fixtures links. High power LED's put out about 6 times the lumens per watt of an incandescent source.
