I've seen those floating globes before that can carry a man but they are pricey... this would be a little more portable, a hell of a lot cheaper...and maybe even looks better in a shot. Any further ideas on shapes that could be usefull... the moon I think is better than the star though, perhaps the moon is the best shape...would be nice if its LED & low power, but need a decent frosting gel/perspex.

Edit: Just realised flash could do it, but with even more diffusion...and that popper radio device.

Hell any shape could be made, the choices can only be limited by ones immagination, for SFX shots one can light up boat sails, airplane wings and so on and magnify the glow in post. Got me thinking.
