Filmmaking will be more mixed together with documentary, that is my feeling.
You will see alot of "scenes" taking place during events that happens for real.
That is all thanks to the flexible nature of the camera.

It's not gonna change anything. It'll be a great tool, but that's it. And IF things are going to change it's gonna be on the manufacturers side. The soccer moms are gonna keep buying $300 cams, the pro indies are going for RED, the big pro's for EPIC and other tools.

So...Scarlet will be just for us, the "few" who buy sub $ 10K cams. And we will (ab)use it happily.

I saw a UFO once back in the 80's - it was dusk and my friend and I watched it move quickly from behind a hill to the horizon to out of sight all in about 6 seconds - it was cigar shaped and made no sound, I will never forget it. :conehead:

Financial and technical barriers will be diminished and possibly - abolished altogether, sometime in the future.

Someone said that cinema is going to become a real art, when the means for creating a film become as cheap as a pen and a sheet of paper.

The only thing that will remain will be the creative challenge.

That's the only thing that should remain.
