Thanks, I only got hit with a few rocks...nothing too bad. Standing on the inside of the turn would be good, so would Scarlet
Any video editing tips?

You could perhaps try a faster pace and also less fades in favour of just cutting directly from one shot to another. The eye does not normally notice straight cuts (for reasons that are a bit off topic to go into) so don't worry about the fact you notice them when editing.
But it is good stuff so let your creativity run wild rather than listening to me or anyone else on this or any other forum. Just get out there and shoot and develop and I'm sure you'll do great.

Nice one :-)
I reckon creating a juxtaposition with classical music on the soundtrack could be interesting.

Juxtaposition? Like a Picture in Picture of two videos side by side or with one on top of the other with a transparency attached to it? The latter seems like it could turn out nicely.

That could work.
But I was thinking about the music in the sound track.
Was thinking that something like Classical music would contrast with the cars?
Experiment with music that people might not expect would go with the vison.
Maybe some electro?

It would be cool if you gave the camera a little more shake...eratic zooming etc. to up the pace of the video a bit...
And if you could strap some cheap cams to the cars...
But awesome stuff anyhow...

I do need to get some In-Car cameras. Hopefully I can go out again soon and take some more footage and experiment.

You could tie the camera to a car using a small beanbag to keep it secure and stable

there is a company that makes mounts where you can mount the camera to the rollcage with the tripod mount on the camera, there are also in car camera systems out there. I know some people who have them, just wasn't able to get the video from them.

Cool videos Larson, I find the subject compelling to watch which is a great start. Maybe some variable slo-mo, and cutaways - spectators, marshalls, rabbit running away, whatever you see. It sets the scene and breaks up the main subject.
Keep it up, and yes videos look better on vimeo.

I'll be sure to do that, thanks! Once I have more video I'll try to put something together

Here is my latest attempt with some of the suggestions implemented, took the video yesterday. It's on youtube as well as vimeo, but actually looks better on youtube as it's de-interlaced there, messed around with it for a few hours trying to get it to export better from Priemere Pro but had issues with sound not showing up. Anyways, here's the video:
